General Data Protection Regulations

I hold notes and personal information on all of my clients. Clients notes and personal information are kept separate in a secure and confidential locked cabinet on a secure premise in line with GDPR.

All information collected and stored i.e. client’s records are appropriate, accurate, relevant, lawful, and secure.

Clients can request to see their notes at any time and permission will always be sought from the client before sharing notes with a third party, if appropriate.

I will keep client’s personal information and individual notes for a maximum of 7 years after the counselling relationship has ceased after which all information will be securely destroyed.

At present I do not keep any notes or personal information electronically.
